LCN Fruit Care Honeydew Melon hand cream nourishes the skin with glycerin and panthenol. In combination with the biopolymer hydroxypropyl chitosan this cream ensures a balanced moisture contents. Elastin promotes the formation of the skins own elastin and is therefore strengthening the connective tissue. The skin will appear firmer and tighter.

Ingedients

Elastin: Elastin is an essential protein within elastic fibres, tendons and ligaments. However, within the connective tissue of the skin its presence is only approx. 2 — 4 % whereas the collagen content is approx. 70 %. The mechanical properties of the connective tissue are the result of the interlocking of the elastic fibres with collagen. During the course of the ageing process a progressive cross-linkage of the collagen occurs whereby the flexibility of the connective tissue decreases. At the same time the elastin fibres are thickening, they become brittle and consequently are loosing their gummy properties. That is on the one hand because of the accumulation of lipids onto the hydrophobic groups of the elastin and on the other hand on the increase of the calcium and magnesium contents. These processes which are happening in the skin lead to a loss of elasticity and moisture within the tissue and therefore to the formation of wrinkles. The active ingredient containing elastin counteracts this process. With the daily application of elastin the contents of elastin fibres will be increased. In addition they are arranged finer and more consistently

Hydroxypropyl Chitosan: Hydroxypropyl Chitosan is a natural biopolymer. It is especially valued within the cosmetics industry because of its ability to bind water. The biopolymer forms transparent visco-elastic films which restrain the moisture in the skin and protect the skin against outer environmental influences

Glycerin: Glycerin forms part of the skins own moisture system and is therefore suited as moisturizer and is for this reason very compatible. Glycerin is rumored to have hydrating, moisturizing effect. It is supposed to even surpass the effect of Urea. According to the latest studies glycerin is supposed to have an additional barrier protecting effect. Glycering is supposed to stabilize the skins barrier by turning the lipid structures in the skin malleable.

LCN Aroma Effect Peeling Honeydew Melon combines rich nourishment with a pleasant peeling effect with its two phases of salt and oil. Peach- and almond oil nourish the skin with valuable ingredients like tocopherol, as well as oil and linoleic acid. Their exceptional compatibility makes these two oils perfect for dry and chapped skin. The additionally contained soy oil optimizes, through its high contents of lecithin, the moisture contents of the skin and provides a pleasant feeling. The peeling effect of the Aroma Effect Peeling Honeydew Melon is due to the salt it contains. Together with the oil phase dead skin cells can be removed gently and the skin appears soft and supple. A fruity-sweet fragrance of ripe honey melons completes the LCN Aroma Effect Peeling Honeydew Melon.

Ingredients

Peach kernel oil: The initially from Chine originating peach tree (Prunis Persica) is a small to medium sized tree. Peach trees have alredy been cultivated very early in the north-western parts of China. An indication of this even today still is the botanical term "Persica". Because peach trees were cultivated mainly in the area around Persia and from there they were introduced into Europe. Today peaches are mainly grown around the Mediterranean area but also in America or Japan.

In cosmetics we especially value the oil of the peach kernel. Peach kernel oil possesses a high contents of unsaturated fatty acids, with emphasis on oil- and linoleic acid. This oil however also contains palmitic acid as well as various vitamins and minerals.

Peaches are, like apricots, a close relative to almonds. This mirrors itself within the fatty acid composition of the oil. Therefore this oil is suitable, similar to almond oil, mainly in the application for dry and chapped skin. Peach kernel oil is rumoured to prevent the formation of wrinkles.

Peach kernel oil is a very compatible oil and is therefore suitable for the treatment of all skin types. It is therefore mainly used for care cosmetics and hair cosmetics.

Almond oil: The almond tree belongs to the family of the Rosaceae, rose family, and originally stems from West- or Central Asia but today it is mainly cultivated in the Mediterranean area (Spain, Italy) as well as California. Almond oil is pressed from the kernels of the sweet and bitter almonds.

According to literature almond oil is extremely compatible and a universally usable oil for all skin types, even for sensitive baby skin.

Its contents of tocopherols lies in a medium range, therefore the tocopherol-fraction mainly consists of the metabolic- and cosmetic active a-tocopherol. This vitamin is supposed to have an antioxidant effect and therefore protect the skin.

Soy oil: Soy oil is a very valued ingredient in the cosmetics industry mainly because of its high contents on lecithin. This can, similar to Vitamin E, help to optimize the moisture contents of the skin. In addition to lecithin soy oil contains furhter valuable ingredients like lino- and linoleic acid, tocopherole and phytosterole.

Jojoba oil: Due to the ability to spread within the horny layer of the skin, jojoba oil contributes towards increasing the skins elasticity. Due to its specific structure, jojoba oil is supposed to protect sustainably and reliably against loss of water.

Application:
